- 1. Order assignment: Allocating orders/pickups to transporters or delivery partners based on route, capacity In Dispatcher 2.0 tool. Ensuring timely assignments to avoid delays and missed pickups.
- 2. Cash Debrief: Collecting cash handover details from delivery executives after route completion. Verifying COD collected vs system amount, noting discrepancies, and updating the tool for finance closure.
- 3. Cash Reconciliation: Matching physical cash received vs system COD entries. Investigating short/excess cash with transporters/vendors coordinating with team and closing variances through TTS.
- 4. Tracking Shipments: Live monitoring of vehicles and consignments using TMS/GPS. Proactively flagging delays, route deviations, or stuck shipments and coordinating with transporters for resolution.
- 5. Contingency Handling: Managing disruptions like vehicle breakdowns strikes, weather delays, or store closures. Arranging backup vehicles, re- routing, or rescheduling to maintain business continuity.
- 6. Capping: Applying load/volume limits on routes or hubs to prevent overloading. Balancing order flow vs vehicle capacity to maintain service quality and compliance.,
- 7. Requesting AD-HOC blocks: Using RIVER TOOL Raising requests for temporary route/service blocks due to issues like road closure, local events, or safety concerns. Coordinating with planning teams for approval and communication
- 8. Managers Transporters: Daily coordination with transporter managers for attendance, vehicle availability, and performance. Addressing escalations, penalties, and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- 9. Email Writing: Drafting clear, professional emails for escalations, follow-ups, and process updates to internal teams, stores, and vendors.Maintaining proper documentation and trail.
