Project: OCA-Organic Cotton Acceleration

· Collecting data of 31 cotton varieties from 2 replications in Yadadri bhongir.

· Collecting Data of Cultivation Evaluation Trials: This involves systematically gathering data throughout the season to evaluate the performance of different cultivation methods, crops, or varieties. This data could include growth rates, yield, disease resistance, and other relevant parameters.

· Regular Field Visits for Crop Management: Field visits are essential for monitoring crop health, identifying any issues such as pests or diseases, and implementing management strategies as needed. Regular visits allow for timely interventions to optimize crop growth and yield.

· Conducting Participatory Varietal Selection (PVS): PVS involves working closely with farmers to evaluate and select the best-performing crop varieties for their specific conditions. This participatory approach engages farmers in the selection process, ensuring that the chosen varieties are well-suited to local environments and meet farmers' preferences and needs.

· Collected leaf samples in CET and seed productions plots and submitted those samples for ELISA test.

Project: IRRI

· Identifying farmers who are interested for DSR paddy cultivation.

· Collecting data parameters which was given by IRRI team.

· Regular updating DSR photos to IRRI team.

· Conducted field day programs and crop cutting experiment under IRRI team to assess the performance of best variety.

· Digitalizing data in Kobo app which was collected throughout the season.

· Done milling assessment to assess the head rice recovery percentage.

· Done cooking quality assessment involving farmers to assessing the factors such as taste, color, texture and aroma.etc for finalizing the best variety for consumption.

Project: IRRI-Seed systems

· To maintain quality seed production, off-types and weeds should be removed regularly.

· Data collection/survey of seed production farmers from Jangaon, Yadadri Bhongir, and Karimnagar.

· Regular monitoring of seed production plots located in Jangaon district.

· Field visits with farmers who have experience in seed production to assess the quality seed.

Others:

· Collected 180 soil samples from the Rangareddy district from 31 villages and done chemical analysis, earthworm counting & water infiltration and gave recommendations based on nutrient deficiency and submitted to farmers

· Done chemical analysis of 54 soil samples from KSA and submitted to team for better crop management.

· Analysis of pesticide residues for 58 chilli samples and also done few pesticide residue analysis for sahaja aharam.

· Participated in seed balls preparation and seed ball campaign.

· Setting up terrace gardens and giving technical guidance’s to the customers.

· Demonstrating terrace gardens setups in exhibitions and explained about pest and disease management to the customers.

· Germination tests for seeds which was in our office based on requirement.
