Role & Responsibilities:

• My role was part of Risk and Brand Protection team of DELOITTE US-INDIA.
• Conducting quality assurance reviews Level 1 (First line of defense) for entity updates within Independence systems, while ensuring Auditor Independence under SOX Compliance
• Understanding of various Independence standards – SEC, IESBA, European Union, PCAOB.
• Maintained a database of Merger and Acquisition of various Deloitte firm clients in DESC system

Job description:

• Answering technical Independence queries from business relating to variety of subjects which may include non-audit services, business relationships, personal Independence, business operations and other matters.
• An understanding of types of non-audit services that can create independence impairments under various independence standard.
• Supporting Senior Managers and Directors with the resolution, documentation and communication of potential Independence breaches
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal Independence publications, including training materials, practice aids and other supporting guidance.
• Served as a global compliance contact, acting as the primary interface for multiple member firm independence teams in their interactions with the Global Independence team. This includes reviewing, responding to, and resolving any member firm inquiries, as needed, and leading regular calls with those member firms.
• Performed financial research in-search for the details of entities belonging to various Deloitte firms in Research tools like Refinitiv, Bloomberg and D&B.

• Generated comprehensive reports on portfolio performance and risk assessment.
• Conducted Ratio Analysis and suggested the company's performance for the year 2020-2021 through various ratio.
• Generated report on Working capital management for the year 2020-2021 by analyzing the Financial statement of the firm.
