Transformation/UAT testing (May 2017- Aug 2024)

• UAT testing for trade settlement platform (Equities & Fixed income)
• Performing verification and validation activities, which include preparation of test cases, test scripts, step-by-step execution, consolidation and reporting bugs & defects.
• Co-ordinating with different platforms and stakeholders across different location to discuss on the defects/status during SIT/MOT/UAT testing of the target model.
• Analyzing system requirement and developing test plans for functional and regression testing.
• Conducting manual testing for checking functionality, security, and performance testing during the various phase of the development of the application.
• Conducting smoke test on daily basis to ensure the test environment are technically working as expected and flag as quickly as possible any issues that need attention to (DevOps / Tech Arch etc.)
• Tools used to for test management (Kibana, Open Shift, JIRA, IBM WebSphere MQ explorer, test initiator)

Downstream testing:

CASS/Stock Hub: Client Money and Stock Hub integration from new platform perspective and their impact to the existing flow and raise or request for CR as per the requirement from CCR team.

Intellimatch: Stock and Nostro reconciliation integration testing from new platform perspective and their impact to the existing flow and suggest changes required for STP flow and improve auto matching rules to reduce the manual intervention.

• Pre-matching trades on VD-1, VD-2 & VD with counterparties.
• Liaise with counterparty/custodians/brokers/middle office to resolve trade disputes and discrepancies and SL desk to cover short positions to avoid buy-in.
• Constantly following up with the agent for the updates on the prime brokerage trades and updating the status to middle office.
• Cash and stock reconciliation to rectify the error and clear the outstanding breaks.
• Perform client money reporting on the outstanding credit items to CASS team.
• Ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLA.
• EOD checks for all the APAC markets and reporting the status to the management.

• Cash and stock reconciliation for Equities and Fixed Income products for EMEA region
• Perform client money reporting on the outstanding credit items to CASS team
• Internal cash event postings or processing swift payments to move funds across difference accounts to clear breaks
• Liaise with Intellimatch support/custodian for missing statements/ledgers or any other technical issues
• Reconciling stamp breaks for Crest market and making SDRT payments to HMRC and processing quarterly PTM levy charges
• Increase auto match rule on breaks by providing the required criteria to IT team to reduce manual intervention

• Pre-matching trades on VD-1, VD-2 & VD with counterparties
• Liaise with counterparty/custodians/brokers/middle office to resolve trade disputes and discrepancies and SL desk to cover short positions if short or to avoid buy-in
• Net-off trades if both the parties short to deliver and execute swift payments if only cash movement
• Ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLA
• Monitor volume inflow and ensure sufficient resource and workflow allocation in a justifiable manner
• Cash and stock reconciliation (SSR) to rectify the error and clear the outstanding breaks

• Trade reconciliation of the security prior to the value date and send all claims to the counterparties via fax or by email to agree with the claim and execute payments
• Process value day coupon or redemption payments (SWIFT MT 202) on all currencies before the cut-off time as per the SLA
• Post value date payments on the claims received late
• Managing risk intensive issues with priority and escalate if necessary
• Using applications SSR and DB trader to study the movements of the trades

• Processing orders received on LNP (local number portability) application for disconnecting of phone lines or changing the service provider as per the customer request
