Project Description:

Point32health is the health service provider by the combination of Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts vendors. BI&EDW project is to manage the reporting with the goal of making better business decisions than their competitors about the business departments of Clinical, Care Management and Financial. BI turns the massive amount of Member, customer, product, provider, broker, Accounts & Receivable, behavioral & pharmacy claims data from various operational systems into the format that is easy to understand about the current and long-term trends of the business. All these functionalities helps to take instantly alerted opportunities against to the problems and to receive the continuous feedback on the effectiveness of the decisions to the daily ongoing business.

  • Accountabilities:
  • Being as a team leader to setup clear expectations, defining the roles and responsibilities for creating productive team environment.
  • Facilitating the effective communication and making collaboration among the team members including resolving if any conflicts or issues with technical assistance.
  • Collaborating with leadership team, stakeholders, business users, developers, admin teams to provide solution to the failures or issues and to do process improvement.

AIG is an American multinational finance and insurance corporation. The product GES of AIG is used to calculate the potential loss for the particular property. Based on the property geographical location details application gives the inputs like risks to the particular property with various peril types, to decide the coverage values and premium rates. Also, it helps to identify the Geocode and Risk Accumulation modeling results for the bound/unbound policies, portfolio rollups for the executive Management, Board of Directors, reinsurance partners. So, this GES data warehouse module helps for decide possible losses to the properties by various perils and coverage premium rates, limit values.

Accountabilities:

  • Playing role of ETL Lead with strong technical background in ETL processes, data integration and related technologies.
  • Assist to customers and business users for their queries and Ad-hoc requests.
  • Working on problem tickets to give permanent solutions to the re-occurring issues.
  • Involving in monthly development and deployment releases for modifications or enhancements.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a state statute intended to enhance privacy rights and consumer protection for the residents of California, United States. This CCPA act helps to the customer to know about what data is being collected, weather the personal data sold or disclosed to any outside vendors and to say don’t sale the personal data of consumer by the business teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Understand business requirements from the user stories and customer calls.
  • Prepared TDD documents for technical design illustration and reviewed with the onsite coordinator and customer.
  • Using Datastage Designer for extracting, cleansing, transforming the data to develop jobs for CCPA accomplishment.

General Motors Financial Company is a financial service of General Motors, it is named as Goldrush application. This company is a global provider of auto finance, with operations in the United States. The company provides retail, commercial loans and lease programs through auto dealers for the customers. The GMF IO Business Intelligence (BI) program supports both the Commercial and Retail operations by encompasses a Financial Data Warehouse (FDW) with Retail & Commercial Data Marts. These data marts provide the information about Floor Plan, Dealer Risk Ratings and Vehicles to understand the dealer’s performance for providing the credit facilities, identifying the risk dealers and getting the information of vehicles sales and transaction details.

Accountabilities:

  • Developing new cluster requirements jobs with the given specification document, testing and deploying into the UAT and PROD systems.
  • Implemented parallel extender jobs for better performance using stages like Join, Merge, Sort and Lookup, transformer with different sources flat files, complex flat files and XML files.
  • Involving in history data load and incremental data load for the newly developed jobs.
  • Loading Commercial, Retail data marts daily and monthly manually or using the Autosys scheduler.
  • Troubleshooting of production issues like data inconsistency, system configuration issues, performance tuning and enhancements.

Project Description:

The ALLY-AML (Anti Money Laundering) is an automated system to analyze all the relevant transactions and generates alerts for suspicious activities and to report suspicious activities to the Federal Authorities. The Federal Regulators have indicated that Ally Bank must report on all the activities which could lead to money laundering or terrorist activities by all the auto transactions and deposits. AML will maintain product coverage supporting their ability to detect, investigate and report suspicious activities.

  • Accountabilities:
  • Involved in the understanding of business processes and requirements to develop the system.
  • Designing and development of the ETL Parallel jobs depends on the source to target mapping document and specifications.
  • Splitting the Datastage jobs into subsets to handle bulk data by dynamically distribute to all available processors to achieve the best job performance.
  • Developed job sequencers with proper job dependencies, job control stages and triggers.
  • Prepared Unit test cases and tested the jobs according to test cases in SIT/UAT testing.

Miller Coors is a joint venture between SAB Miller and Molson Coors beers brewing Companies. The joint venture has the responsibility of selling beer brands such as Miller Lite, Miller High Life, Miller Genuine Draft, Coors, Coors Light, Molson Canadian and Blue Moon in the United States. Information Warehouse (IW) is the Data Warehouse stream in the Miller Coors project and designed for the analysis of separate and combinational business results for SAB Miller and Molson Coors. Oracle, SQL, Flat Files, Web methods Interfaces and Tapes are the various types of data sources for Miller Coors. So, the business can analyze the business in various aspects like sales, quantity, quality, profit, revenue etc…

  • Accountabilities:
  • Monitoring of Autosys daily, weekly and monthly jobs and fixing those if any failures at run time by following SLA timelines.
  • Opening the problem tickets for regular job failures and fixing them permanently through the problem ticket procedure.
  • Applying the enhancements to the application through the Change Request process with Change Advisory Board (CAB) approvals.
  • Extensively used the Zeke scheduler tools for the automation of scheduling jobs on daily, weekly and monthly basis with proper conditional and dependencies jobs.
  • Involved in the infrastructure migration and applications testing.
