Project Description: As a SAS Developer for Santander Bank, the main objective is to deliver data analytics and reporting solutions that drive business decisions across various departments, such as risk management, customer analytics, and compliance.

Role: SAS Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL): Use SAS tools to extract, cleanse, and manipulate large datasets from various internal and external sources, such as transactional systems, customer data, and financial records. This includes transforming data into usable formats for analysis.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and automate reports for business teams, leveraging SAS to build advanced dashboards, visualizations, and dynamic reports. Provide insights and recommendations based on the data to assist in decision-making.
• Risk Modeling and Compliance Support: Work closely with the risk and compliance teams to build predictive models for credit risk, fraud detection, and regulatory reporting. Ensure that all models and reports meet Santander's compliance and governance standards.
• Optimization and Automation: Implement automated SAS processes for routine data management, model scoring, and report generation, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency in regular reporting cycles.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Engage with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure that all deliverables align with business needs and technical standards.
  
  

Project: CITI Bank

Project Description: The project involved providing Oracle Database development to Citi Bank Technical Operations, based in America.

Role: SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Handling the analysis, implementation of new enhancements, and change requests raised by clients.
• Writing SQL, PL/SQL code according to requirements.
• Prepare test cases for development.
• Prepare Bug Report Document for test cases.
• Sending the Weekly Status Reports, Functionality coverage reports.
• Analyzed existing SQL queries to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Participated in regular status meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or feedback promptly.
• Optimized server resource usage by monitoring performance metrics and making necessary adjustments to SQL Server configurations.
• Performed regular database backups to prevent information loss.
• Supported projects enabling delivery efficiencies and technical resolution.

Project: CITI Bank

Project Description: The project involved providing Oracle Database Support to Citi Bank Technical Operations, based in America.

Role: DBA

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and resolving problems occurring in all database environments, including performance-related issues through OEM 13C.
• Assist the development team in the design, development, testing, performance tuning, and implementation of database applications.
• Create, optimize, and maintain SQL queries that support application functionality and operational activities.
• Supporting and documenting the implementation of approved changes to system configurations, software, and infrastructure within the approved testing schedule.
• Installation, testing, implementation, and patching.
• Streamlined database operations for efficient use of resources, applying patches and upgrades when necessary.
• Worked closely with developers to optimize SQL queries for better query performance across various applications utilizing Oracle databases.
• Troubleshot database issues to create and resolve trouble tickets.
• Worked with customers and other third parties to support DBA functions.
