Responsibilities :

As mainframe application developer & SME in WGS , responsibilities include:

• End-to-end development support in delivering SSCR's in monthly release phased manner.
• Functional review & Technical design presentation of solution for given Requirements of SSCR .
• Unit testing , Code deployment , Extending support for dual Testing Phases SIT & UAT .
• Participation in System Test cycles for validation of Claims which were processed during pre Production code deployment of desired changes.
• Collaborative Knowledge Transfer among Team to enhance expertise on WGS system.
• Reduced software bugs by conducting thorough testing ,fault analysis and debugging procedures.
• Practiced Agile methodologies such as Scrum throughout entire lifecycle helping ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities :

As a mainframe developer , my responsibilities include:

• Meeting stakeholders to understand project requirements and coming up with a technical solutions to meet criteria.
• Unit Testing , Code deployment , Extending support for QA to ensure smooth functioning of applications SIT & UAT phases of Testing.
• Volunteered as QA in Unit Batch testing conducted among different Work requests.
• Tested methodology with writing and execution of test plans, debugging and testing .
• practiced both Agile & waterfall methodologies .
• Provided technical guidance to junior developers, sharing knowledge with broader community while gaining valuable insights from other experienced professionals.
• Conducted thorough code reviews to identify potential areas for improvement, ultimately enhancing code quality across all projects handled by team.
